OSE Monster: Behir

BEHIR

40’ long, many-legged, deep blue snake-like monsters. Dwells in caves and hills. 

AC 3 [16], HD 12** (54hp), Att [1 × bite (2d4 + constriction), 6 × talon (1d6)] or 1 × lightning bolt (6d4), THAC0 10 [+9], MV 150’ (50’), SV D6 W7 P8 B8 S10 (12), ML 10, AL Neutral, XP 2,700, NA 1d2 (1d4), TT D

▶ Cling: Climb walls, trees, etc (at half speed). 

▶ Constriction: When a bite attack is successful, the behir wraps around the victim and begins to squeeze. Each talon inflict 1d6 automatic damage per round. 

▶ Swallow whole: A bite attack roll of 20, indicates that a human-sized (or smaller) victim is swallowed. Inside the behir’s belly: suffer 3d6 damage per round (until the behir dies); may attack with sharp weapons at –4 to hit; body digested in 6 turns after death. 

▶ Lightning bolt: Every 10 rounds: 20’ long, 5’ wide. Save vs. breath for half. 

▶ Energy immunity: Unharmed by electrical attacks. 

▶ Poison immunity: Unharmed by any form of poison.
