Large, two-headed black hounds that hunt in packs in deserts or underground.

▶ Disease: Victims must save versus poison or contract a horrible rotting disease that is fatal in 4d6 days. The disease can only be removed by magic.
▶ Knock: A natural 19 or 20 attack roll indicates that a human-sized or smaller creature is knocked prone: –4 to attacks until able to stand up again.
▶ Aggressive: Usually attack on sight.
▶ Origin: Rumoured to descend from a three-headed hellhound.
